Aelrox respects and protects your privacy. This policy explains the information we process when you use the Aelrox community, desktop app, AI Builder, micro apps, subscriptions, and support services, why we process it, and how you can manage it.
Scope
This policy applies to the official Aelrox community website, desktop app, and related online services. Third-party websites or services reached through a micro app may have their own privacy policies; review them before providing information.
Information we process
Account and security information
This includes your email, username, avatar, account role, sign-in and verification state, signed-in devices, and security records needed to protect the account.
Content and activity you submit
This includes profiles, micro apps, posts, comments, favorites, feedback, reports, review appeals, and images, attachments, or other resources you choose to upload.
AI Builder information
This includes prompts, conversation context, attachments, creation requirements, generated results, and model and usage information needed to complete requests and calculate allowances.
Do not submit passwords, verification codes, access tokens, full payment information, medical records, identity documents, or another person’s private information without authorization in prompts, attachments, or micro apps.
Desktop and local data
Unpublished drafts, workspace data, and micro-app runtime data are normally stored on your device. Data needed for an action is sent to the relevant service only when you sign in, sync, publish, upload, use an online AI feature, submit feedback, or explicitly use a cloud function.
Transaction and subscription information
This includes order identifiers, plan and subscription status, payment results, and information needed for invoices, refunds, or billing support. Full payment credentials are normally handled by the payment provider; Aelrox receives only the information needed to complete and support the transaction.
Device, diagnostic, and security information
This includes IP address, browser or device type, app version, access time, error information, and security records used to prevent abuse, investigate failures, and protect the service.
How we use information
When necessary to provide the service, perform our agreement with you, protect legitimate interests, comply with law, or act with your consent, we use information to:
- create accounts, sign users in, and verify identity;
- operate the community, desktop app, AI Builder, and micro-app services;
- store and display content you choose to publish;
- handle publishing review, reports, appeals, and community governance;
- activate subscriptions, calculate allowances, and resolve order issues;
- provide support, troubleshoot failures, and improve the product;
- prevent fraud, spam, malicious behavior, and security incidents;
- meet applicable legal, accounting, and compliance obligations.
AI and service providers
When you use AI Builder, prompts, context, and attachments needed to complete the request may be processed by the model provider configured for the current region. We may also use payment, email, storage, content delivery, logging, monitoring, and security providers to deliver necessary functions.
Providers process information only as needed for the contracted service and are subject to applicable contractual and security requirements. Models and providers may change because of region, availability, or product updates.
Public content and visibility
Profiles, micro apps, posts, comments, and some interaction statistics you publish publicly may be viewed, shared, or cached by others. Confirm that content contains nothing you intend to keep private before publishing.
Drafts, unpublished content, and private feedback are not made public simply because they are stored in the service, but authorized personnel may process them for support, security, review, or legal requirements.
Cookies and privacy preferences
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain sign-in, remember language and interface preferences, protect accounts, and complete payments. Strictly necessary items remain enabled. Optional functional, analytics, or marketing items can be managed in the in-product privacy preference center.
Analytics and marketing items are disabled by default. Aelrox.cn and Aelrox.com are independent services, so accounts and privacy preferences are not automatically synchronized between the two regions.
Regions and international handling
China services are provided through Aelrox.cn, and global services through Aelrox.com. The regions independently store accounts, content, orders, community interactions, and service records.
We do not automatically synchronize user content from one region to another unless you submit it to the other service, provide explicit authorization, or law requires it. Information transfers needed for a third-party service are handled under applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
Retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. The period depends on the information type, account state, security risk, and legal obligations. Orders, publishing records, reports, security records, and dispute materials may be kept longer. Deleted content may remain briefly in backups before scheduled removal.
Security
We use access controls, isolation, transmission and storage protections, audit measures, rate limits, and security monitoring. No system can guarantee absolute security. Protect account credentials, keep devices updated, and review micro-app permissions carefully.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- view and update your profile;
- manage public content, notifications, sessions, and privacy preferences;
- request access to, correction, deletion, or export of relevant personal information;
- request restriction of or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent for optional processing based on consent.
Requests may be limited by identity verification, security, legal retention, the rights of others, and backup cycles. Submit a privacy request through Feedback, identify the account and issue, and never include a password or verification code.
Minors
If you are below the age of full legal capacity in your location, use the service with the consent and guidance of a guardian. We do not knowingly collect unnecessary personal information from children.
Contact and updates
Use Feedback to ask a privacy question or exercise an applicable right. We may update this policy as the product, law, or operations change. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means such as an in-product notice, community announcement, or document update.
